The atlas, the daily round and the leaderboard as an app: full screen, on your home screen, with reminders that arrive as notifications. It is the same Kartavera, so your sign-in and your streak come along.

How to install
- Download the APK. Chrome may say the file "might be harmful" because it did not come from the Play Store. Choose Download anyway.
- Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android asks you to allow installs from Chrome: Settings → Allow from this source, then go back.
- Install and open Kartavera. The first launch shows a one-time "Running in Chrome" note; after that the app opens full screen every time.
What you get
- The Equal Earth atlas with search, zoom and drag-to-compare, made for one hand.
- The daily round with the live leaderboard, and a reminder at the hour you choose.
- Sign in with Google to keep your streak across your phone and your computer.
- Links to kartavera.com open in the app once it is installed.
Good to know
- The app needs Chrome (or another modern browser) on the phone; it renders the site inside it, without browser controls.
- No permissions beyond the internet and, if you turn reminders on, notifications.
- Same privacy terms as the site: read them here.
