About this map quiz

What is a map quiz? A blank map of a region and a prompt — "Find Germany". You click the country; right, and it fills in and stays filled. Wrong, and the country you clicked flashes; after three wrong tries the right one is shown and counts as missed. The quiz goes on until every country of the map has been asked.

Which maps are there? The whole world and the six continents: Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, South America and Oceania. Every map asks every independent state of its region larger than 1,000 km²; the smaller ones are listed under the map, since they cannot be clicked at that scale.

Does it count for anything? With a nickname, yes: XP (capped at 100 a day, like practice), a passport stamp for every country found at the first click, and a board per map for today, this week and all time. Without a name it is just a quiz — and the Study mode is always free of scoring.
