How the daily game works

Every day at 00:00 UTC Kartavera picks ten pairs from 152 independent countries larger than 20,000 km². Each pair is close in size, between 8% and 250% apart, and the rounds get tighter toward the end. Both countries are drawn at exactly the same scale in an equal-area projection, so the only thing to judge is area — no Mercator inflation, no clever framing.

Your streak and today's answers live in your browser and nowhere else. After each answer you can open the pair's own page to see the figures, and at the end you can share your result as a ten-square grid.
